KatzPascale, the NYC-based duo of Sammi Katzmann and Jenna Pascale, focuses on the importance of feeling with their music. Sammi runs saxophone through loops and effect pedals, pushing the instrument well past its conventional limits, while Jenna pushes the sound with cello and layered vocals that move between warmth and tension. Together they have built something difficult to categorize and capture your attention from the jump, a sound that sits at the intersection of neo-classical, post-punk, and something entirely their own.

Now enter [untitled], they are a platform built around a belief that the process of making music matters as much as the finished result. A mobile and desktop tool made in Brooklyn, it gives artists a private, secure place to store, organize, and share their work-in-progress, whether that is a rough demo or a song nearing its end progress. It is not built for the polished and the published. It is built for the in-between, for the version of the work that most people never get to hear.

That emphasis brought KatzPascale and [untitled] together for a joint performance. The show was built around new material, performed live and in progress, with the audience present to be part of the moment itself.
